Mike McGrath, Cubmaster of Pack #165 Cub Scouts in Willow Springs
received recognition January
14th, 2003 at the Osage Hills District Banquet for
dedicating his time for the Cub Scouts and doing an
outstanding job. He took over as cubmaster in
June of 2002. Since being cubmaster, he has participated at
the Day Camp for Scouts in West Plains, Resident Camp at
Camp Childress in Joplin for 3 days, created a website for the
cub scouts with events and photo's at www.cubscoutpack165.com,
held a American Native Pow-Wow at the Marx's Bison
Farm, Christmas Caroling at the Nursing Home,
hold's monthly meetings for the pack, and more. There is
currently about 48 cub scouts. If you might be interesting in

469-2445. "We are always looking for Cub Scout
Volunteers. There is no better reward than spending
time with these fine boys. I believe that this is one of
the most important ways that Scouting is helping these boys to
have Strong Values,
become Strong Leaders
and to truly believe that Character
