Scouts Pack #165 
Swimming in February?
No it's not the Polar Bear club, it's Cub Scout Pack 165 of Willow Springs
at the West Plains Civic Center Tuesday, Feb 11th, between 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
It was fun for all who attended with swimming and refreshments afterwards. The Scouts also learned to use the buddy system and did a great job with two buddy checks held in which they have 15 seconds to find their buddy. Just as in camping, the scouts are to be aware of where their buddy is at all times.
The Scouts attending were: Jimmie Johnson, Brendan Sorrells, Brandon Wake, Kurt Barry & his sister Karley, Anthony McGrath & his sister Nichole, Derrik Skinner, Logan Wake, Thomas , Andrew Brower, Tyler Barton, Tyler James, Clint Harper, Chris Corman and his brother Hunter, Garrett & Dylan Bunch, Dylan Gale, and Junior Kight.
I would like to thank all the parents and leaders who brought their scouts and siblings. Cub Scouting is a very family oriented organization and we encourage parents and siblings to be involved in the scouts events. Upcoming events: Blue & Gold Banquet Feb. 27th and the famous Pine Wood Derby Race March 8th. Remember the Cub Scout Motto "Do Your Best!" - Cubmaster Mike
